More Information Treble Makers A Cappella Ensemble Registration No instruments allowed! The Treble Makers is CMPAC's first and only mixed A Cappella ensemble, and we're kicking it off this June! Learn to sing and prepare for the college Aca-experience with professional A Cappella singer, beatboxer, and music director - Mr. Jack has been practicing A Cappella for over 11 years, starting from high school groups to NYU's Mass Transit and now performancing with various groups across New York. Each season, the Treble Makers will learn 5 unique, original arrangements of popular music and prepare for a showcase in front of a large audience. Students who join the program can look forward to learning new musical skills such as sight reading and beatboxing, enhancing their singing & aural comprehension skills, and most importantly have fun while making music! Throughout the course, students will learn terminology, the comedy writing process, stage presence and performance techniques. Students will be constructing a 5-6 minute stand-up comedy routines during the course of The Laughing Academy, and will be performing at their Graduation Showcase.
